Jan Matthijs en Jenneke Bennink leenden op woensdag 6 februari 1793 fl. 147.-. tegen 3% rente per jaar van de Diakomte van Aalten, en 'agt en twintig gulden' van Barent Rensink en zijn vrouw Harmina Husstede tegen een rente van fl. 1.-. per jaar. Aan beide leningen incl. rente verklaarden zij 'te verbinden haar eigendimmelijke plaasen - Jtijes - genaamt gelegen onder Aalten in de Buurschap IJserlo bestaande in getimmer van Huijs, hoff en Bou(w)land en al wat daar onder behoort zoo als door Comp.ten word bewoond en gebruijkt'. In het doopregister worden zij vermeld als: Matthuis Sumpsen en Joanna Benning. (Bron: brief 01-02-1995 Stadtarchiv Bochtolt (Dtsl). [Jan Matthijs and Jenneke Bennink borrowed Fls. 147, from the poor-relief board of Aalten at the rate of 3% per annum on Wednesday 06 February 1793 and 'eight and twenty guilders' fron Barent Rensink and his wife Harmina Husstede at the rate of Fls. 1. per annum. For both loans including interest they stated 'to pledge themselves for their holding, called Itijes, situated near Aalten in the hamlet of Ijserlo, consisting of structure, yard and farmland and everything belonging to it as inhabited and used by appearers'. Before her father's marriage, Geert was called: Geert Hellekamp but gave himself the name Benning after the wedding. In the register of deaths it says: 'Joannes Hellekamp, Reformed religion, from the Duchy of Geldern (Germany) died by chance with the farmer Benning in Spork.' )Source: family card file Weber p 36).
